"I Spotted Something With My Little Eyes at 9.42.42 PM," 2020. Digital art.

Honors, Photo/Media
I spotted with my little eyes, cars went fast as they drove by.
The man that lives in the house across the street is working again,
I wonder if he ever looks up and sees me working by my window too?
The window is spoty with dirt, which can be easily cleaned with some wipes,
But I have no way to reach it – the other side, the other side closer to the outside.
I spotted with my little eyes, the same four houses through my window.
I wonder why that third house is in that shade of blue?
And why is it fenced up, what is it scared of?
But I have no way to reach it – the other side, the other side is someone else’s inside.
I spotted with my little eyes, the cars on I5 block the sun sometimes,
Causing the whole room to flicker, I thought I was blinking, but it’s the window blinking.
I wonder where the cars are going, is the car the driver’s inside?
But I have no way to reach it – the other side, the inside is my outside.
